Mr. Somkiat Chayasriwong, Permanent Secretary to Labor, announces the National Outstanding Industrial Establishment Award in Labor Welfare/Relations on 6 September 2012 and Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI) was selected to be one of the 6 companies who receive the National Outstanding Industrial Establishment Award in Labor Welfare/Relations for 10 consecutive years (2003-2012).
Moreover, companies in SSI Group, including West Coast Engineering Co.,Ltd. (WCE) and Thai Cold Rolled Steel Sheet Plc.(TCRSS) also obtain the National Outstanding Industrial Establishment Award in Labor Welfare/Relations for 5 consecutive years (2008-2012).
Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, Group CEO and President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Public Company Limited (SSI), reveals that SSI delights to receive the trustworthiness from the judges, including employer representatives, employee representatives and the government representatives, to be qualified to gain the National Outstanding Industrial Establishment Award in Labor Welfare/Relations for 10 consecutive years which is an honorable award that only 6 companies can receive it. SSI is the only Thai company while the 5 companies are multinational and well-known reputation companies.
