DMG Books has joined forces with JSL Global Media Company Limited to launch the Thai version of ‘The Happiness Habit’ by Brian Colbert. The author is NLP Master Trainer, the owner of Irish Institute of NLP who worked and trained countless number of people around the world. NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a process to manage and work with your brain and your mind to obtain human hidden potential and happiness from the subconscious mind. Accompanying Mr. Brian Colbert are Mr. Owen Fitzpatrick, world renowned author, speaker and trainer, specialist on charisma, influence and NLP and Ms. Maha Daoudi, Licensed NLP Master Trainer and specialist in women empowerment and youth advancement.

Brian Colbert and Owen Fitzpatrick co-founded the Irish Institute of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) in 2001. They are highly recommended by Dr Ricard Bandler (co-founder of NLP) and the Society of NLP, the largest and older NLP training body in the world. Since they founded the Institute they have presented NLP seminars in Ireland, Britain, Europe and America. They also offer corporate consulting and present in house training to the corporate sector in the areas of communication, sales, motivation, stress management, creativity and business application of NLP. Brian Colbert has coached numerous business organisations such as DELL, Microsoft, Gateway, IMI, AOL, ESD, Bank of Ireland, Go America etc. Owen Fitzpatrick had worked with Bill and Hilary Clinton, Olympic athletes and celebrities.

‘The Happiness Habit’ is a best-selling title in UK and Europe. Brian Colbert has had the privilege of training thousands of people over the last fifteen years as a therapist, life coach and NLP master trainer. He has witnessed first hand the powerful effect of these techniques on himself and on his clients and the many delighted seminar delegates that he has trained. One set of tools that he has used, which dominates the pages, is NLP. NLP is a transformational, feel-good, mind and mood management technology that helps to build confidence, stay positive, face adversity, overcome a challenge and persuade more easily.

To fast-track the progress, he has devised a series of core questions and processes that need to be addressed to bring about a profound positive change in our life. The journey of change works on eight different levels. This book will teach how to optimize and transcend each level for maximum progress and effect.

Much of Brian’s focus is centred around the latest research findings on happiness. Dr Michael Fordyce published the results in 1977 of the world’s first comprehensive experiment designed to increase personal happiness. He later refined this in 1983. In 1980 New Zealand scientists S. Lichter, K. Haye and R. Kammann also conducted happiness-increase experiments. Their combined research has become known as ‘the science of happiness-increase’. Their findings demonstrated that individuals could be taught to increase their happiness dramatically (by an average of 25 per cent) through training. The tools in this book will do more than that. The findings of some of this research are happy people consider that life has purpose. Happy people actively sort for the positive when bad things happen and avoid negative comparisons with others. Happy people actively seek the company of other happy people. Happy people are more likely to marry and to have friends. Happy people tend to earn more and etc.

Brian Colbert said “My advice is that you read this book from start to finish and do each exercise as it is presented to you. All change requires an expenditure of effort and the more you give to each of exercises the more life will give back to you. Most exercises are clearly explained before you are invited to engage with them. I trust you will enjoy this book and my hope for you is that you experience the same or greater levels of balance, harmony and happiness that I have had in my life since studying and taking on board these learnings.”

John La Valle, President of The Society of NLP? said “The essence of this work is to be happy, making it habit. More and more evidence is being published about the effects of people being happy and affecting their lives in a positive way mentally, physically and spiritually. Brian is offering you many ways to achieve this. What you have here is remarkably easy to read, easy to follow and easy to use the book that Brian has used his experience and expertise to put together. Enjoy it and feel good!”
