Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Captures the Thai Market as the hub of Turkish products in ASEAN

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, following the Thai-Turkey investment and commerce policy, eyes the Asian market and sees the potential of Thailand as the future trading and investment center. To be prepared for the AEC in 2015, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce plans to host the 1st Turkish Products Exhibition in Thailand by appointing N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. (NEO) to manage the show’s marketing and event organization.

Mr. Aysun Yilmaz, Director Department of Exhibitions and External Relations, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce revealed that, “Turkey is an interesting country for Thai businesspeople to invest because the relations between Turkey and Thailand has been established for more than 55 years, with explicit policies that support the trade and investment between these two countries. Therefore, the “1st Turkish Products Exhibition in Thailand” will give the investors a chance to directly conduct the business with entrepreneurs. It will also introduce the new markets from Republic of Turkey to Thai businesspeople who are looking for the products or services with competitive quality and price in response to the upcoming AEC market.”

The 1st Turkish Products Exhibition in Thailand will take place between November 28 and December 1, 2013, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok. The event will showcase the technology, tools, innovation, products and service as well as providing the knowledge of trade and investment planning. Istanbul Chamber of Commerce will display the products and services from the government sector, association and companies from different industries, such as food, machinery, technology, tool, electric appliances, packaging, kitchenware, decorative items, tourism, medical supplies, healthcare, beauty, clothes and fashion.

“The outstanding and well-known products and services most imported by Thailand include machinery, ships, gemstone, silver and gold bullion, chemical products, ready-to-wear outfit, jewelry and textile. Because of the attractive quality and price, this market is much desired in Thailand. Trade and investment policy between Thailand and Turkey become stronger as both countries are looking to enjoy continuous development.
