School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, joined forces with leading professionals in marketing communication to launch BU.I.L.D - an 8-week intensive course to cultivate the new generation of communication experts targeted at marketeers, marketing communication executives, and new entrepreneurs. BU.I.L.D aims at unlocking tricks of the trade to effectively serve consumers in the digital economy, grooming new professionals to solve the industry's lack of qualified personnel, and providing online commercial empowerment for today's generation.

Dr. Peeraya Hanpongpandh, Dean of School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, pointed out that the fast changing consumer behavior of today's digital age has resulted in brands and products actively gearing towards innovative marketing communication to meet the constant shift in consumer needs. In the meantime, Thailand's digital industry is facing serious shortage of qualified personnel in marketing and communication. Realizing the importance of these issues, School of Communication Arts, Bangkok University has teamed up with experts in various industries to create BU.I.L.D - Bangkok University Integrated Learning & Development as a shortcut to produce professionals in marketing communication for creative economy. "Marketing and communication industries around the world are actively moving full steam ahead with constant change in order to better serve dynamic needs of consumers in the digital age. Any brand failing to adjust accordingly or lacking of new marketing tools is hard to survive."

The BU.I.LD programme consists of 4 intensive courses to support the future business needs.
1. Digital Marketing for Tomorrow Brands

A prerequisite for new age marketeers, Digital Strategy is today's most popular marketing communication platform. This course is led by experts in digital marketing who share real experiences in various aspects i.e. analysis of online consumer behavior, thinking process, comprehensive campaign planning, integrated use of new and traditional media tools including campaign measurement and evaluation. Designed by Digital Advertising Association (Thailand) DAAT, the course is targeted at company executives, marketeers, advertisers, media planners, and entrepreneurs who employ digital marketing in developing successful communication campaigns.

2. How to Win AEC Online Consumer for Thai SMEs

A new communication weapon for medium and small entrepreneurs. This course, designed by founder of, provides effective online strategy for AEC market covering AEC marketing opportunity search, online shop planning to reach 1 MB baht in 90 days, strategic website design to attract buyers in 1 minute, gimmicks for international market penetration via mobile commerce including unseen and untaught lessons, such as AEC tax laws etc.

3. Build Tech Start-up Brand with Creative Marketing

Designed by using real experiences of M8VC co-founder, this course focuses on building professionals in start-up technology, particularly, application and content developers as well as online business owners. All BU.I.L.D intensive courses will take place on every Saturday, from September 21 to mid-November 2013, for a period of 8 consecutive weeks. Applications are now open until September 15, 2013. The fee is 55,000 per person, per course. Participants will receive certificate at the end of the course.
