Best Western International (BWI) will be showcasing its Asian expansion plans at this year’s ITB Asia.

Returning to the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, from October 23-25, 2013, ITB Asia is the biggest travel trade show in the Asia Pacific region.

The three-day event is expected to attract almost 8,500 attendees from 92 countries, including more than 750 high quality international buyers. So for a company such as BWI, which is rapidly expanding its Asian portfolio, the show offers an unrivalled opportunity to meet and do businesses with travel trade partners from across the region, and the world.

“ITB Asia is the region’s biggest travel trade show and we are delighted to confirm our participation once again this year,” said Glenn de Souza, BWI’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & the Middle East.

“We have been present at the event every year since it began in 2008, and have found it offers us a tremendous opportunity to showcase our brands. The attendance of hundreds of high quality international buyers also provides an excellent opportunity for us to drive business to our fast-expanding collection of hotels and resorts across Asia,” Mr. de Souza added.

Having once again taken a large booth space in the center of the main show floor, BWI will be presenting attendees with updates of its portfolio of more than 200 hotels in operation, under construction and in the process of rebranding across Asia and the Middle East.

This currently includes 145 midscale BEST WESTERN hotels, almost 20 upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS properties and 40 luxury BEST WESTERN PREMIER hotels in 27 countries.

BWI is now looking to expand its portfolio across Asia, with large pipelines in several countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. The company also recently signed its first two properties in Myanmar.

Best Western International will be located at booth number K35, Hall 404 at ITB Asia.
