CPN spends over THB 50 million to celebrate and promote spending during Chinese New Year ­- Year of the Horse under the theme CPN Great Chinese New Year 2014 “Good to be Chinese”

Under a collaborative marketing strategy, CPN has joined hands with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Chinese Cultural Centre in Thailand, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, and Thai Life Insurance to celebrate Chinese New Year at 23 branches of CentralWorld, CentralPlaza, and CentralFestival shopping complexes nationwide. Big and rare performances will be held to celebrate one of the most important seasons for Chinese-Thai people.

More than … spectacular performances from China will be presented, including a peacock dance, lion dance, golden dragon parade, Beijing lion acrobatic show, Chinese space opera, Shaolin Kungfu martial arts show, and horse power kungfu martial arts show. Buddha relics from the Yuantong temple in Kunming will be brought to Thailand for the first time to allow Thai Buddhists to pay homage. A package tour to Hong Kong with DJ Bookko and DJ Jaydai and “Ang Pao” gift vouchers for famous restaurants will be given away.

Central Pattana Public Co., Ltd. (CPN), Thailand’s leading retail property developer, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chinese Cultural Centre in Thailand, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, and Thai Life Insurance, is spending more than THB 50 million to hold the CPN Great Chinese New Year 2014 campaign under the theme “Good Fortune Pouring In, Happy to be Chinese” from 29 January to 2 March 2014 at 23 branches of CentralWorld, CentralPlaza, and CentralFestival shopping complexes nationwide. Rare, special performances from China such as a the peacock dance, Beijing lion acrobatics show, Chinese space opera, Shaolin kungfu martial arts show, horse power kungfu martial arts show, and acrobatics shows will be presented. Buddha relics from the Yuantong temple in Kunming will be brought to Thailand for the first time to allow Thai Buddhists to pay homage. Furthermore, top auspicious dishes from four provinces of the People’s Republic of China, such as barbecued suckling pig and roasted duck from Guangdong, “Buddha Jumps over the Wall” from Fujian, Wenchang chicken from Hainan, pork stew from Shantou, and special auspicious products from China will be available at CPN’s shopping complexes. A package tour to Hong Kong with DJ Bookko and DJ Jaydai, and “Ang Pao” gift vouchers from famous restaurants will also be given away.

They also clean their houses, buy new things for home use, buy food as sacrificial offerings, and prepare trips. Therefore, CPN is spending more than THB 50 million to hold the CPN “Great Chinese New Year 2014, Good to be Chinese” campaign at its 23 branches nationwide to boost spending. Rare performances will also be presented during the festival to generate more traffic and activate retail market. We are confident that this campaign will promote spending and increase the number of customers by 10-20%. A variety of special promotions and products for the Chinese New Year season as well as discounts and credit card privileges will be offered. In addition, a package tour to Hong Kong with DJs Bookko and Jaydai will be given away to lucky customers.’

Customers coming to shop at CentralWorld, CentralPlaza, and CentralFestival will enjoy our promotional campaigns, performances from China, in addition to shops selling auspicious products and rare Chinese food products. Furthermore, they will have a chance to get lucky at three levels. Firstly, a customer who purchases items valued at least THB 1,000 is entitled to one draw chance (or three draw chances for Thai Life Card customers) to win a Best of Luck package tour to Hong Kong worth THB 66,000 with DJs Bookko and Jaydai (five prizes, two persons each). Secondly, a customer who purchases at least THB 5,000, in items (THB 4,000 for Thai Life Card customers), from 29 January to 1 February 2014 (or until prizes run out) will get an “Ang Pao” voucher to eat at famous restaurants. Thirdly, a Thai Life Card customer who purchases at least THB 1,500 of goods will receive a Tops gift voucher worth THB 100, just by showing a Thai Life Card and a receipt.
