The conference theme “Transformative learning for health equity” highlights the need and opportunity for continued improvement of the health professional education in order to keep pace with the scientific, social and economic changes transforming the healthcare environment to further advance the health equity agenda. In addition to improving the education the event aims to promote the importance of ensuring that health professionals worldwide deliver better health care services in response to the changing health needs of communities in every corner across the globe.
