FedEx Ship Manager Makes Shipping Easier and More Efficient for Thai Businesses

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has enhanced its web-based shipping tool, FedEx Ship Manager™ (FSM) to make shipping processing faster and even more convenient for Thai customers. New features include Thai language options for users and an enhancement to reduce the number of air waybills required for shipments outbound from China.

FSM is an online platform that enables Thai customers to track their packages, alert customers of arrivals and better organize shipping documentation with easy-to-use report generating and data management systems.

The highlights of the recent enhancements include:

Thai Language Availability

Customers in Thailand can now register for a FedEx Ship Manager account, create an online shipment, update the shipment profile or manage their account settings easily in their own language, which means an overall more pleasant customer experience.

Reduced number of air waybills and commercial invoices for China outbound shipments

The number of air waybills and commercial invoices printed for all outbound shipments in China is reduced, which helps save costs for customers and also makes customers’ shipping with FedEx easier and more environmentally friendly.

Commenting on the upgrades, Mr. David Carden, managing director, FedEx Express Thailand and Indochina, said, “Our online enhancements give customers an edge in efficiency and speed. In today’s competitive trade environment, where minutes matter, these are business-critical areas for local companies, especially small, medium businesses, who want to expand business offshore whether in ASEAN, China, or other parts of the region.”
