Award-winning Indian restaurant continues to offer delicious surprises

TheGolden Peacock, The Venetian® Macao’s signature Indian restaurant honoured with a Michelin one-star rating, haslaunched a diverse new vegetarian and non-vegetarian a la carte menu, sure to delight guests with a wide range of tastes.

The irresistible arrayof newly launched Indian dishes at the Golden Peacock givesguests a wider variety of dishes to choose from, sure to impress with their authenticity. Highlightsinclude:

- SonaMorShikampuri, made of bananas, sweet potatoes and golden apricot

- KandariMurgh Tikka, organic chicken boiled with baby beetroots and served with pomegranate

- Goa-style Scallop AmbotTik, pan-fried Scottish scallops served on top of spicy tomato jam

- Dal SathNizam, made of seven kinds of lentils, pink onion, royal cumin, tomato and Kashmiri chilli

The Golden Peacock’sone-star listing in the Michelin Guide to Restaurants and Hotels Hong Kong & Macau 2014 edition signifies “a very good restaurant in its category,” and “a place offering cuisine prepared to a consistently high standard.” It is also one of only nine Indian restaurants worldwide currently starred by Michelin, and the only one in Asia. In addition, the Golden Peacock islisted in Hong Kong Tatler’s Best Restaurants guide for 2014; it is alsoone of only 20 Macao restaurants having been recognised by the South China Morning Post in the 2014 edition of its 100 Top Tables – a CEO’s Dining Guide, a high-end handbook to the best restaurants in Hong Kong and Macao for top executives,–its third accolade since opening in February 2013.

The Golden Peacock brings the best in authentic Indian cuisine to visitors of Cotai Strip Resorts Macaoat the iconic and ever-popular Venetian Macao.Made from scratch using ingredients imported direct from India, the cuisine covers a comprehensive rangeof regional specialties and is prepared by a team of chefs that includes 13 from all throughout India, led by Kerala-native Chef Justin Paul.
