In 2013 The Okura Prestige Bangkok become the sole and exclusive outlet in Thailand for the outstanding wines produced by Grace Winery in Japan.
Grace Winery’s flagship grape is Koshu, the signature varietal of Japan. The grapes are grown and cultivated in a mountainous area of Yamanashi prefecture that enjoys long periods of sunshine and relatively little precipitation. “These ideal conditions produce grapes that bring greater minerality, concentration and flavour to the wines,” explains Marc Bittner, Sommelier at The Okura Prestige Bangkok. “Grace Winery has been receiving justifiable praise from wine connoisseurs around the world and the wines presented at these very special dinners will undoubtedly impress our guests.” This combination of fine Teppanyaki cuisine and outstanding wines from Yamanashi prefecture is available only for dinner from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm on 27 and 28 November 2014. Priced at Baht 4,900++ per person (dinner and wines).
