The ceremony started with dinner, contest and followed by the Christmas tree lighting ceremony with hotel guests, guests from the Klong San District and distinguished guests. The Christmas tree decorating contest, called the ‘Christmas Green Challenge’. With the coordination of Khlong San District, students from five schools, Wat Thongplang, Wat Suwan, Wat Sawettachat, Wat Suttharam and Wat Suttharam High School, were participated in the contest. Participants only allowed to use recycled products to decorate their Christmas trees, giving old-to-new bling an excellent chance to sparkle.
