Bangkok--23 Feb--Rojana Industrial Park

Rojana Industrial Park Public Co., Ltd. is spending a large amount of budget on its industrial expansion in 2015. It is building two new industrial parks in Chonburi province and Laem Chabang in preparation for future foreign investments, especially those from Japan and China as main target, as well as those from other countries in the region, where investors have been turning to Southeast Asia. Rojana is confident that Thailand is ready for such foreign investments due to its adequate warehouse facilities, logistics, and transport infrastructure the country has established well in preparing to serve as the center of ASEAN industry, as well as the location advantage it has enjoyed.

Mr. Jirapongs Vinichbutr, managing director of Rojana Industrial Park, said that “This year Rojana Industrial Park is making an investment of around four billion baht in building two new industrial parks in Chonburi province. One is Rojana Chonburi Industrial Park, located in Sriracha district, covering an area of 1200 rai (192 hectares), and the other is Rojana Laem Chabang, located in Bang Lamung district, covering an area of 1600 rai (256 hectares). The main target group is foreign investors, especially those from China and Japan, who have plans to invest in Thailand for a while in preparation to the advent of ASEAN Economic Community, which is coming into effect at the end of 2015. In the region, Thailand is an ideal hub for trades and investments due to its comparative advantage in location, as well as its adequate well-established warehouse facilities, logistics, and transport infrastructure such as Bangna-Chonburi Motorway, Laem Chabang Seaport, and Suvarnabhumi International Airport, all of which contribute to the efficiency in freight transport and product distribution.”

“Our reputation in this business and about 30 years of experience are a guarantee of our expertise in this field. Also known is our excellence in managing projects in such areas as public utility and services. So we’re very certain that we are capable of welcoming such foreign investment opportunities, especially those from China where investors have consistently shown their interest to invest in our country,” he added.

Rojana Industrial Park has been running its business for more than 27 years, and runs four industrial parks in Thailand– namely, Rojana Ayutthaya, Rojana Bankhai (in Rayong province), Rojana Pluak Daeng (in Rayong province), and Rojana Prachinburi. Apart from running industrial parks, it has also made an expansion into other business sectors – for example, property and energy.
