Photo Release: Tesco Lotus receives plaque from PM on World Environment Day 2015

Tesco Lotus Head of Communications and Sustainability Charkrit Direkwattanachai receieved a Plaque from Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha citing Tesco Lotus as a private sector organization which had joined in official campaigns to reduce plastic bags and foam, and the Green Card project. This was at the event 7 Billion Dreams, One Planet: Consume with Care, held on the occasion of World Environment Day, 2015. Tesco Lotus has a booth at this event on its efforts to reduce its environmental impact throught its business operations, its campaigns with staff and customers, and cooperation with communities. Projects such as Proud not to Use a Bag and No Bag Store have reduced plastic bag usage by over 50 million bags, and will continue with further campaigns in 2015.
