Herbalife Congratulates Thai Team for Bringing Home 26 Medals from Special Olympics

Herbalife executives and independent members headed to Suvarnabhumi Airport to give a warm welcome to Thailand's representatives to the Special Olympics World Games LA 2015. The team arrived from Los Angeles, California, after competing with athletes from 165 countries.

Herbalife executives and independent members greeted the athletes who proudly represented the country at the Special Olympics World Games 2015 upon their arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The team brought home a total of 26 medals - 11 golds, 10 silvers, and 5 bronze.

Five gold medals, five silver and one bronze were picked up by the Athletics team,while the Bocce team reaped five golds. Another gold and another silver were won by the Badminton players, while the Table Tennis players brought home three silver and three bronzemedals. Swimmers also proved their skills by picking up one silver and one bronze.

In the run up to the Games, Herbalife Thailand provided nutritional support to the 29 Thai athletes during the intensive training period held at Thammasat University's Rangsit camp before the competition in Los Angeles. The whole team followed the nutrition program with protein supplements designed by Herbalife to be able to give the best performance throughout the competition.
