ELEPHANT CARE WITH SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, BANGKOK

Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok invites guests to support the hotel’s effort to help save some of the world’s most endangered animals from extinction by purchasing “Our Jumbo” children’s book. This book, written by Mrs P. Sachdev who is currently residing in Singapore, is about a playful baby elephant who is oblivious to the dangers lurking in the forest. The hotel also created T-shirts and mugs for this good cause.

The “Our Jumbo” children’s book is available at the hotel’s Shangri-La Gifts for 100 baht, a T-shirt and a mug is priced at 300 baht and 150 baht respectively. Proceeds will benefit the Friend of the Asian Elephant Foundation.
