On September 18, 2015, at Plaza Athenee Bangkok, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the "Charity Exhibition of Chinese Brush Calligraphy and Paintings to Commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Thailand, and the 60th Birth Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn" which was held by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand and the Thai Red Cross Society. Sponsors of the event included KASIKORNBANK, the Artist Association of Thailand and China, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Chinese Brush Calligraphy Artists Association of Thailand. Sixty million Baht of proceeds from the sale of 60 calligraphic works and paintings, created by Chinese artists and shown at the charitable exhibition, was presented to the princess for the Thai Red Cross Society's charitable work.
