on the hotel's lobby level. The special art exhibition will be showing at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit until 31st October, 2015.

Sofitel Luxury Hotels is showcasing the compelling photo exhibition "Revealed" for the first time in Asia-Pacific - taking an intimate look at the world's greatest modern artists at work as they reveal themselves to the photographer.

Olivier Widmaier Picasso, grandson of Pablo Picasso and author of Picasso - Portrait Intime, has curated the exhibition, personally selecting 30 photographs from the archives of Paris Match, the famous French weekly magazine.

From September onwards, the "Revealed" exhibition will showcase at Sofitel hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in China, Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, and Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit in Thailand.

Mr.Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer for AccorHotels Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia, together with Mr. William Haandrikman, the hotel's general manager, will preside over the opening night at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit.

At the magnifique evening soiree, guests will be welcomed to Le Bar de l'Hôtel by our elegant French hostesses dressed in a typical French costume who will invite them to savour a selection of creative Le Cocktails des Artistes, each inspired by a renowned painter. The guests will meet our artist who will create a painting in front of them as it is done in Quartier Montmartre, the Parisian enclave that was once home to many of the world's great masters. The exhibition premier will also be enlivened by an engaging performance by mime artists in the tradition of Marcel Marceau. They can then enter the intimate S Gallery to discover another part of the stimulating exhibition and enjoy a DJs cool mix of Parisian-style sounds. Returning to the lobby area they can experience the vocal artistry of the French tenor, Yves Baron.

French-style decoration including Parisian bistro tables and chairs, an image of the Eiffel Tower, flowers, umbrellas, and the scent of summer will create a lively ambience reminiscent of Place des Artistes in the heart of Quartier Montmartre where there is always a space for art and creativity.

At the "Revealed" by Sofitel exhibition, guests can enjoy Sofitel Ciroc Rose de Matin, a signature cocktail from "Les Cocktails Artistes Menu" accompanied by light green olives fragranced with orange zest, smoked salmon on crispy rice and the delightful French confection, canele de Bordeaux for THB 350++ per portion.

Among the prized photographs to be displayed is a black and white image ofPablo Picasso eyeing a Dalmatian longing to climb upon his lap; Salvador Dalí seen sitting in an animal exhibit at the Paris Zoo; Jeff Koons styling a BMW for the 24 Hours of Le Mans; Pierre Soulages crouching over a work in progress; Kees Van Dongen painting a posing Brigitte Bardot; and other striking images depicting Rene Magritte, Marc Chagall, Fernando Botero, Joan Miro, Jean Cocteau, Francis Bacon, and more.

"As an international ambassador of French elegance, Sofitel links its collection of addresses with culture, and collaborates with celebrated artists, writers and photographers," says Michael Issenberg, Chairman & CEO of AccorHotels Asia-Pacific.
