Marriott Hotels Thailand Brings a Smile Back to Children’s faces.

Marriott Hotels Thailand CSR committee led by Mr. Karl Hudson—Area Vice President – Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia & Japan (left), Mrs. Panjit Howe—Country Director of Human Resources, Thailand & Cambodia (second from right), and Mrs. Supap Sirins—General Manager, Marriott Executive Apartments Mayfair - Bangkok (right), recently delivered a cheque of 791,576.00 Baht to Mr. Anand Panyarachun—Honorary Chairman of Operation Smile Thailand and twice former Thailand Prime Minister (second from left). This wealth of support was offered in order to sponsor free surgery to repair cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities for children throughout the country.

The program was a part of Marriott's Spirit to Serve culture of giving back to community. Every year, each hotel arranges fund-raising activities to support the charity, and in the last few years alone, Operation Smile has performed more than 7,000 free surgery for children.
