Investing more than 10,000 million within the next 3 to 5 years as well as disclosing the progress about The Market project.

The Platinum Group Public Company Limited or The Platinum Group which is the leader in developing commercial real estates launched its new strategy by investing more than 10,000 million baht to expand its 3 major businesses in the next 5 years comprising the shopping mall space for rent, hoteling, and office building.

Mr. Chanchai Phansopha, the president of The Platinum Group Public Company Limited said "Since our registration to the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), we have proceeded according to our business plan continuously. Presently, our various projects have formed up, and we emphasize on proactive working by investing more than 10,000 million baht to expand our business in order to earn the profit as targeted. We have identified our company's new vision to be 'the leader in developing real estates for commercial purposes covering residential place, office building, and hoteling, which go hand in hand with supporting the small entrepreneurs." Our investment on The Market Project valued as much as 5,800 million baht. We expected to open the service in the shopping mall section by the end of 2018. Our company will also submit the request for EIA for two hotels on Samui Island, Suraththani Province, which we invested as much as 900 million baht. We expected that the hotel projects will be completed by the end of 2018 as well.

Regarding the Bangkok Skyline project, the investment value for the whole project is 400 million baht. The management will be handled by BTS Chidlom Station and our company. The first phase which begins from The Platinum Fashion Mall until reaching the new The Market project is expected to be open by the end of April 2016. For the second phase which the infrastructure is extended as far as Gaysorn Plaza is expected to be open for service by the end of 2016.

For the overall condition of other businesses of The Platinum Group such as Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam, in 2015, numerous tourists have acquired our hotel services with the rate of 86% which is a good figure for us. In addition, during the peak season, the hotel room occupency rate increased to more than 90%. Thus, we can see that the net profit of this business is higher than two years before.

For the outcome of our business operation in 2015, our company made net profit as much as 630 million baht. This is 44% increase from the year 2014. Besides, there are also food center business and The Wharf Samui Community Mall which is undergoing the strategy and business planning improvement in order to enhance our business that offer more variety of shops.

Our successful flagship business is the Platinum Fashion Mall which has been in business for 10 years. We can guarantee our commitment in running this business. Our management on The Platinum Fashion Mall can generate stable income continuously. Our shopping mall's spaces have been rented at the rate of 98%. We are able to increase the rental rate as much as 6% because our company gives priority to marketing activities that fulfill the demand of wholesale customers where B2B is emphasized. For example, we organize the training on service providing standard for shop owners and fashion clothes business owners. We run sale promotion activities for shops as a way to return profit to customers. We also organize special promotion for tourism representative and tour guide companies as well as foreign tourists. We mainly focus on members of the ASEAN whose people visit the Platinum Fashion Mall. Mainly, they are from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, China, The Philippines, and more. Moreover, we also develop the human resources of our company continuously. This results us to receive the certificate on customer service standard (BS8477:2014) and the customer satisfaction management system standard (ISO10002:2014) from the British Standard Institute (BSI Group). So, we are deemed to be the world's first shopping center to be recognized by these two standards altogether. With the cost and efficiency in business of the Platinum Fashion Mall as expressed previously, we have made achievement up to a level. However, according to the perspective of the executive of The Platinum Group who is the leader in developing commercial real estates, The Platinum Fashion Mall still has the efficiency to grow further. Thus, we have laid out the plan to create value and improve our image partially and continuously. For example, we initiate the Bangkok Skyline project which will allow customers to enter our shopping mall building more conveniently. There will certainly be the better circulation of customers. Presently, the circulation of customers is approximately 35,000 – 50,000 on each regular business day and 60,000 to 70,000 on each wholesale day.

In addition, we will also improve the advertising sign rental fees, rental of space for special activities, and provide additional facilities to provide more convenience. These are in process, and they will become noticeable in the 3rd quarter of 2016.

More than 1,500 shops will organize sale promotion activities to welcome summer season. They will offer discount which may reach as much as 70%. Winning customers may also win the gift voucher valuing 2,000 baht (32 prizes available) or free 3 days 2 nights accommodation at Sripanwa Phuket valuing 45,000 baht. Customers will receive one prize coupon for every 1,000 baht spent at our shopping mall. Spend 2,000 baht, they will receive two prize coupons and Food Center (6th Floor) gift voucher valuing 100 baht (210 prizes available). There are also many other prizes available which value as much as 500,000 Baht.
