Reveals a New Range of Exceptional Italian Dishes, Made with Passion and Inspiration at Don Giovanni Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok

This season, the venerable Italian restaurant Don Giovanni, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok, is serving up a new range of magnificent signature dishes. Seasoned Chef Stefano Zaninelli, who has over 28 years experience working as a professional chef, with the last seven years spent at the hotel, says that he was inspired by his childhood days when creating the new menu. While reminiscing those sweet memories, especially the dishes passionately made by his mother and grandmother, he could not be any prouder to announce how good were they done with love, and from the most of the freshness of Italian produce. Moreover, the abundance of Carnaroli and Arborio rice for risotto and being nurtured by the 2 best women in his life, have given him an idea of what he wanted to be.

The new dishes are to be found in every course, from starter through to dessert, featuring the ingenious fusion of key ingredients such as truffles, Marsala, rocket and orange. They also include some intriguing new twists on the classics, such as Culatello ham served with sweet melon (THB 860++). These flavorful starters lead to mains such as pan-seared rock lobster, rocket salad with orange sauce and truffle oil dressing (THB 750++); seafood risotto served with roasted salmon cubes and basil sauce (THB 760++); home-made fresh fettuccine tossed with rock lobster and creamy truffle sauce brandy essence (THB 780++); paccheri big shaped pasta with porcini mushroom, speck and fresh tomato (THB 690++); pan fried Australian tenderloin and seared foie gras with roasted potato, root vegetables and black truffle sauce (THB 1,650++) and to finish, there is a glorious orange tart 'brulee' served with chocolate ice cream (THB 320++).

Don Giovanni is open for lunch and dinner and is truly the home of authentic Italian in Bangkok.
