AirAsia moves to Terminal 1 in Yangon

The AirAsia Group will be shifting its operations in Yangon, Myanmar from Terminal 2 to the new Terminal 1 effective tomorrow, 28 June 2016.

Guests who are travelling on all flights operated by Malaysia AirAsia (flight code AK) and Thai AirAsia (flight code FD) are advised to check-in at Terminal 1 from the effective date, which is within walking distance from the old terminal.

All guests flying to/from Yangon will be informed by the airline of the change via email and SMS.

Malaysia AirAsia operates two routes from Kuala Lumpur and Penang into Yangon, while Thai AirAsia operates one route from Bangkok into Yangon with a total of 45 weekly flights.
