A unique opportunity to develop skills, boost employability and kick-start the career.

Adecco Thailand is pleased to announce Mr. Wisarut Winyu-ekasit to be CEO for One Month 2016 as part of Adecco Way to WorkTM program. The talented young professional from SIIT will be one of the chosen 50 candidates around the globe to work alongside the Adecco Country Manager and leadership teams, gaining invaluable job experience to boost their CV. Only one will make it to become Adecco Group 'CEO for One Month' running a Fortune 500 company under the mentorship of Adecco Group CEO Alain Dehaze.

The world of work is changing fast, bringing challenges and opportunities. More than 70 million young people around the world are unemployed, with peaks of more than 50% in European countries, such as Greece and also signs of rising joblessness in some parts of Asia. Yet shortages of talent – notably the hard skills needed to meet new and growing business needs – are becoming ever more acute. Demand for candidates with digital skills and strengths in science and engineering are on the up. Yet soft skills like creativity and an ability to think out of the box, social competence, team spirit and leadership remain crucial too, especially as automation and increasingly sophisticated robots put routine jobs in jeopardy.

Work experience is essential to develop such skills and build professional profiles meeting the needs of the labour market and challenges of a global economy. Ever more, students must combine formal education with work experience, whether through vacation jobs, internships or apprenticeships.

The Adecco Way to WorkTM and 'CEO for One Month' programmes address these needs. This year, a record 54,637 ambitious youngsters from 50 countries applied to become 'CEOs for One Month'. The 50 chosen will now spend a month on the job with their Country Managers and local leadership teams. Their intense programme will include learning about the HR solutions and staffing business, grasping broader management, finance and marketing principles, being exposed to clients, and having opportunities for public speaking - a unique experience that will boost skills, confidence and employability.

The top 10 'CEOs for One Month' will proceed to a further stage - the Boot Camp – after which one alone will be recruited as Adecco Group 'CEO for One Month'. Alain Dehaze will personally mentor the candidate, sharing his knowledge and experience in running a Fortune 500 company with 32,000 employees around the world.

Tidarat Kanchanawat, Regional Director –Thailand & Vietnam, Adecco Group Thailand stated "We truly believed in the potential of Thai young professionals these days and more than happy to offer the opportunity to learn from the real experience to further enhance their skills and inspire their future career aspiration. This will be a great two-way learning program." After the official launch of CEO for One Month program on Adecco Street Day in March, there were 190 candidates submitted Online Application. The candidates were put into series of challenges including VDO challenges, work attitude & language assessments and 10 semi-finalists were selected to join both individual and group activities in our Assessment Center then only 4 finalists entered the final interview with our Country Manager herself. In the end, Adecco Thailand appointed Wisarut Winyu-ekasit (Ball), 26, a new graduate from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, as Adecco Thailand's CEO for One Month 2016. Tidarat revealed "I'm really impressed with all the candidates who showed their full potential especially how well they could handle situation under pressure including time limitation and complex topics. I think social media plays the important role in connecting new generation so they could blend in easily and enhance their learning skill with no boundary. Mr. Wisarut is truly deserved to be our CEO for One Month with his outstanding thought process, being both a great leader and a great follower while constantly showing how much he value the generation difference.

Wisarut, the new CEO for One Month said "I had no hesitation to apply for this program from the first time I heard about it and I'm truly delighted that we have this kind of program in Thailand which offers the opportunity for youngsters to learn and get the real work experience in an organization. The highlight of this program is that we got invaluable chance to work closely with the CEO and learn directly through CEO's years and years of accumulated experiences. This program is very unique unlike any other internship programs since CEO's work mainly involved around managing the organization while taking care of the people at the same time. To put it simply, we need to learn when will be the right time to use your head or when to use your heart, whether to let other people cover the task or do it yourself and the appropriate judgment of showing hard or soft side in various situations. These are invaluable experiences that you couldn't find elsewhere and I would like this program to continue for many years to come. I would definitely recommend my friends and juniors to apply. Even though you were not selected to be the winner, just to be in the selection process - to meet and become friends with talented people from other universities is truly worthwhile and quite a tremendous experience for me."
