Suan Bua Restaurant, an institution in Bangkok for over 30 years, is dedicated to creating authentic Thai cuisine, which usually involves a whole series of dishes served together to share among family and friends, making for a wonderful contrast of flavors and textures.

Suan Bua has always been inspired by the wealth of culinary traditions that has developed throughout the country, and now offers a range of special "signature dishes" which include delectable items such as grilled tiger prawn skewers with peanut sauce (THB 550++), Thai samphire and crab-meat salad (THB 390++), grilled Mea Lar district fish curry wrapped in banana leaves (THB 690++), sour soup with red snapper (THB 350++) and Khampaengsan beef in Panang curry (THB 550++), six-hour braised New Zealand lamb shanks (THB 690++), stir-fried lobster in red curry sauce (THB 1,550++), fresh oyster salad with spicy seafood sauce (THB 990++), sliced abalone salad with spicy seafood sauce (THB 4,000++) and many more delicious options.

To find the perfect rice to complement each dish, Chef Por travelled northeast to explore the slopes around Thailand's famous extinct Buriram volcano. There, he discovered the area's top-quality organic Hom Mali rice, which is rich in iron, phosphorus and calcium and with a uniquely delicious taste.

These dishes and many more are all available for both lunch and dinner as part of a set menu for a minimum of two people; the lunch set starts at THB 690++ per person which includes one dish from each course - salad and appetizers, relish, soup, curry and a stir-fried choices and dinner from THB 999++ per person with a choice of one dish from each course and two from the curry selection.
