Photo Release: Boots Thailand Raises Seven Million Baht for Baan Gerda

Boots Thailand raised seven million baht in a three-year campaign for Baan Gerda in which customers and team members were invited to make donations at the register. Established in 1993, Baan Gerda is a non-profit organization that looks after more than 90 HIV-positive children and orphans who lost their parents to AIDS in the Kingdom. The donation ceremony was led by Mr. Dean Thompson (centre), Regional Managing Director, International Retail (Asia), Walgreens Boots Alliance; Mr. Ian Blythe (third from right), Head of CSR – Global Wholesale and International Retail, Walgreens Boots Alliance; Miss Patwarin Phurichjareanpong (second from left), HR Director, Boots Retail (Thailand) Ltd.; and Miss Alana Cartmill (right), Marketing and Merchandising Director, Boots Retail (Thailand) Ltd., together with Boots' employees. Along with the funds for Baan Gerda, the company also donated 10 sets of used computers and Boots healthcare products to create a healthy environment for Baan Gerda's children. Miss Kwanjai Sarnswang, (third from left), Secretary of Baan Gerda, was on hand to receive the charitable donation at Baan Gerda.
