Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit cordially invites you to celebrate the 6th anniversary of L'Appart Rooftop Bar & Restaurant on the 32nd floor of the exquisite hotel. In addition to delicious food and a bird's eye view of Bangkok, diners will be welcomed to an outstandingly stylish luxury in the decoration similar to that of a Paris apartment.

On the very special occasion, Mark Allan Hagenbach, Executive Chef at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, together with Nicolas Basset, Chef of "L' Appart", will be presenting a premium menu for the dinner party marking the anniversary. They have chosen as the highlight high-grade Kampo Wagyu premium beef imported from an agricultural Japanese town famous for its purity of environment. The clean soil, water, air and overall nature makes the meat succulent and richly flavored. The special menu is available throughout July and August, 2016.

The beef comes from Miyagi City, whose specialty is its open farming in which cows are raised in stress-free environment with love and affections. In addition, the original feed is made of 14 kinds of herbs. By feeding the cows with the special herbs for eight months together with natural breeding, Miyagi beef becomes a premium raw material. Its export is very limited and L'Appart is fortunate to be in the exclusive client list, thus able to serve its dinners with a premium and exclusive menu.

The name "Kampo Wagyu" is related to the making of a traditional Chinese medicine in Japan in which herbs and spices are used. Miyagi farmers also feed their cows with these herbs and spices which include wild sesame seeds and leaves, Goji berry, Stevia, Adlay, Konbu seaweed, Deer Horn Shape Ganaderma Lucidum, Sasa Veitchit and Japanese Jujbe. Such special diet makes the meat smooth and delicious with the texture that practically melts in your mouth. It is ideal for such special menus as Tenderloin Tartar, Seared Kampo, Short Loin Carpaccio and Smoked Kampo Beef Sirloin.
