As ever digging deeper into Thailand's culinary culture to unearth its most appetizing expressions, Smooth Curry at level 03 of Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien Hotel,
presents a new, authentic farm-to-table menus from now until July 2017.

Smooth Curry has long tightly embraced the farm-to-table social movement which promotes serving local food, preferably through direct acquisition from producers. Take the certified organic rice the restaurant – and the entire hotel – serves, which is sourced directly from the "Truth of Grain" network of 350 selected farmers in Amnat Charoen province. In a nutshell, it's all about food safety, freshness, seasonality, small-farm economics and curtailed carbon footprints.

Led by the talented Chef Montri Jiratitkankit, the passionately authentic yet unmistakably creative restaurant, invites everyone who really cares about Thai food to enjoy delectable dining inspired by
delicious produce hand-picked and foraged for its natural freshness, healthiness and flavour.
Smooth Curry's current crop comprises an eclectic assortment of prime, sometimes peculiar, sustainably grown, artisanal ingredients that, based on rigorous traceability of their output and methods,
are definitely eco-friendly and organic. The one-of-a-kind farm-to-table a la carte menu available from now until 31 July 2017comprises:
· Kang Kao Phueang Muang Nam Jim Gu Larb – Crispy purple sweet potatoes stuffed with minced chicken served with rose dipping sauce (THB 350++)
· Goong Mae Nam Phao Yam Bai Bua Bok – Char-grilled river prawn with gotu kola salad served with lime dressing (THB 890++)
· Tom Kha Pla Salid bai Ma Kham Orn – Herb coconut soup of dried salted fish with young tamarind leaves (THB 480++)
· Kha Nom Jeen Nam prik Pu Lae Dok Mai – Crab meat curry served with rice noodles and mixed crispy flowers (THB 680++)
· Panaeng Ped Lin Chee – Smoked duck breast in panaeng curry with lychee (THB 520++)
· Ice Cream Bua Loy Khai Khem – Coconut ice cream with glutinous rice balls and salted egg yolk (THB 280++)
