Swarovski's new crystal innovations for FW18/19 are dedicated to 'Light and Shadow', with four resulting trends: Funtasia, Nostalgia, Elegantia and Urbania. Plus, new Designer Edition Crystals by Iris van Herpen—entitled Growing Crystal—are debuted, alongside 3D Studs inspired by the visionary designer.

FUNTASIA NOSTALGIA

Swarovski is proud to have collaborated with leading artists and designers throughout its history. For FW18/19 it is delighted to have worked with visionary experimental designer Iris van Herpen. Striking, bold and true to her organic style, her Designer Edition Crystals for Swarovski are named Growing Crystal and emphasize the power of natural creation as well as the imperfections that lead to great beauty. At the core of each, up to 500 hand-embedded double cones maximize light refraction. Iris van Herpen was also the inspiration behind Swarovski's show-stopping new 3D Studs. Available in three heights, three plating options, two cuts plus twenty color and effects options, they are especially versatile.

ELEGANTIA URBANIA

Swarovski is also pleased to showcase ever more technically complex crystals in an ever-expanding range of colors and styles: Notably, the new Scarlet adds a ravishing red to its color palette, while Crystal Velvet Brown Pearl brings a luxurious luster. The new Jewel Cut Flat Back family of crystals— the Emerald cut, the Marquise cut the Pear cut and the Trilliant Sew-on Stone—introduces classic gem-like opulence and elegance. Debut Fancy Stones and settings include the Slim Trilliant, Eye and Starbloom. And SS18's brilliant Shimmer effect is also available in further product groups.
