PTT continues its tradition of Youth Scholarships hand out for the 21st consecutive year

To students who well behaved and earn good academic score but in poverty around PTT's office, depots and terminals. The 2,876 Scholarships are totaled 11 million bath.

Today (November 28th, 2017) at PTT Headquarters, Mr.Tevin Vongvanich, President & Chief Executive Officer, PTT Public Company Limited presided over The 2017 Scholarships Hand Out Ceremony to assist students who are well behaved with good academic result but fell short in resources.

Mr.Tevin stated that The Hand Out Scholarships Ceremony has been organized since 1996 which counted to the 21st this year. The scholarships were given to students and undergraduate students who were a resident around PTT's offices, depots and terminals throughout the country.

This year PTT distributes 2,876 scholarships which can be categorized into four tiers accordingly; 3,000 bath each for 1,863 primary students, 5,000 bath each for 626 secondary students, 6,000 bath each for 327 high school students,and 10,000 bath each for 60 university students.

"PTT emphasizes on education youths development through projects and activities such as Books for Libraries, PTT Arts Contest Awards, Petro Camp to Champion Petro, 5S School, PTT Seeding The Future ASEAN Camp.PTT also established science institutions namely Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS) and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC). PTT believes that education is a fundamental for growth, so Thai future will be in good hand of today youth." Mr.Tevin closed dialog
