EEC Management Committee Officially Approves 9 Hemaraj Industrial Estates as Special Industrial Zones

WHA Corporation PCL (WHA Group), Thailand's leader in fully-integrated logistics and industrial facilities solutions, is pleased to announce that the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Management Committee, has officially approved another 8 Hemaraj industrial estates, in addition to Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4 (HESIE 4), which was approved in November last year, as EEC industrial promotion zones. The 9 Hemaraj industrial estates that have received approval now cover a total of 34,434 rai.in the EEC.

The Hemaraj Industrial Estates that received EEC approval are:
  • Hemaraj Chonburi Industrial Estate (HCIE 1)
  • Hemaraj Chonburi Industrial Estate 2 (HCIE 2)
  • Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong) (ESIE)
  • Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (HESIE)
  • Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 2 (HESIE 2)
  • Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 4 (HESIE 4) – approved in November 2017
  • Hemaraj Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut) (HEIE)
  • Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 3 (HESIE 3)
  • Hemaraj Rayong 36 Industrial Estate

These 9 Hemaraj industrial estates will play an instrumental role in the development of the project's 10 targeted S-Curve industries, in particular Aviation & Logistics, Next-generation Automotive, Automation & Robotics, Smart Electronics, Biofuels and Biochemicals, and Digital.
