Bangkok--17 May--DITP
Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion and its allies have organized the top Asian event from May 29 to June 2 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Koelnmesse of Germany, is primed to organize the year's grandest food extravaganza from May 29 to June 2, 2018. THAIFEX - World of Food Asia 2018 will bring together more than 2,500 exhibitors from 40 countries in an expansive exhibition area of over 100,000 square meters -- 14% bigger than the previous event -- and expects 10% more visitors than last year's numbers. The organizers are confident the exhibition will maintain its formidable status as Asia's most comprehensive and largest food & beverage event.

THAIFEX - World of Food Asia 2018 is a highly significant food exhibition that aims to boost Thai food products and services into achieving international glory.

The event has a long-standing reputation across the globe, so it undoubtedly appeals not only to Thais but also targets visitors and business people worldwide who can meet and negotiate trade deals. The DITP has joined forces with concerned agencies to support Thai businesses exporting food products and services by going in for strategic marketing, seeking new markets and developing the potential of Thai operators to increase their ability to compete effectively. THAIFEX - World of Food Asia is a mechanism to achieve these goals.

Participants at THAIFEX - World of Food Asia 2018 will have the opportunity to meet business entrepreneurs from countries around the world. This year's event has Argentina -- the country with a great potential in the food industry as partner country. Business or trade days have been increased to 5 days this year, giving participants the connections to build networks and new business prospects, which will help fuel the food and drink industry on the road to robust growth.

Food producers, importers, exporters and others interested in attending THAIFEX - World of Food Asia 2018 are absolutely welcome to the event from May 29-June 2 from 10.00-18.00, which are business/trade days, and the last day is reserved for public visitors on June 2 from 10.00-20.00 at IMPACT Exhibition Halls 1-8 and Challenger Halls 1-3 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
