As such, the produce must be certified free from insecticides and chemical fertilisers. Besides rice, they examined prime fresh, organic vegetables and fruits as well as a wide range of processed agricultural goods produced by over 100 farming families in Nakorn Pathom, Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, and Prachuap Khiri Khan.
With mission accomplished, plans are in motion for the hotel's rooms division to convert its welcome fruit baskets to 100 percent organic fruit from 1 July 2018 onwards.
Q2, 2018 will also see the hotel's international chef teams devoting substantial tracts of their menus to dishes exclusively featuring organic and seasonal produce.
