Thai Direct Selling Association Open House Reveals New Experience to Direct Selling

Thai Direct Selling Association (TDSA) developed a knowledge strategy and new experience for new and existing direct sales companies, through the first-ever 'TDSA Open House'. The open house aimed to strengthen the alignment of direct selling companies, share the latest knowledge and the better understanding of the essentials of successful direct selling with TDSA, which is Gold code member of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA).

The event was set to recruit new members to join the association and to help new players for the sustainable growth in direct selling industry. About 30 companies joined the open house.

Mrs.Suchada Theeravachirakul, President of Thai Direct Selling Association said 'the first-ever TDSA Open House is a part of our aggressive marketing strategy in driving the direct selling industry's sustainable development under the ethical conduct. The open house target new comers. To be eligible for the TDSA membership, applicants must register into direct sales business through the office of the Consumer Protection Board. The company must been operated in the direct sales business in a period of over 6 months prior to the application submission date. Applicants are required to provide a guarantee and refund policy as required in the amendments to the Direct Sales and Direct Marketing Act 2002.'

TDSA member benefits will include an informative as well as advice on the technical aspects of international and national direct selling; promoting and helping members into the direct selling industry; supporting members for decision making; maintaining dialogue and direct selling data with government sectors; regularly update on industry changes and more. There are 33 existing member companies under TDSA. Their sales revenue is about 60% of the country's total direct sales.

TDSA serves as a trusted resource for information in direct selling business. TDSA is the only one association in Thailand that passed the membership condition of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. More than 60 national and regional direct selling associations are members of WFDSA. Through this membership, TDSA has been united in the effort to share the best practices, market intelligence on global development on direct selling.
