“KILORUN OSAKA 2018” Presents Running, Eating and Travel Challenge in Japan International Lifestyle Running Event Takes Place 30 September

Index Creative Village Plc. joins with AirAsia and AirAsia X to reinvent the marathon with KILORUN 2018, a lifestyle running event that combines travel and food into an international level experience taking place in 4 cities of 4 countries, consisting of; Bangkok in Thailand, Bali in Indonesia, Osaka in Japan and Hanoi in Vietnam. Ecstatically received in Thailand and Indonesia, a press announcement has now been held to unveil KILORUN OSAKA in Japan, inviting runners from across the island nation to run, travel and dine on the best of Japanese and Thai cuisine along a route full of culture, life and fun. The event is sure to promote tourism and the good image of both Japan and Thailand and is to start this 30 September at Osaka Castle.

The event will be followed by KILORUN HANOI, the fourth and final route set in Vietnam. KILORUN OSAKA 2018 takes place this 30 September in Osaka, Japan. The one day competition is divided into 2 categories:

1. (Kilometer) begins between 8:30 and 10:30AM in the area of Osaka Castle and is divided by distance into L RUN 11 Kilometers, M RUN 5.5 Kilometers, S RUN 2.2 Kilometers and FAMILY RUN 2.2 Kilometers.

2. KG (Kilogram) is a relaxed walk and run marathon that starts between 12:30AM and 15:30PM. The run passes by Osaka landmarks such as Osaka City Central Public Hall, Naniwa-bashi (Lion Bridge), Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library, Osaka Exchange and Kitahama Retro Building. Participants in this category will get to sample some of Japan's best cuisine as well as delicious Thai dishes in a culinary cultural exchange.

Mr. Nadda Buranasiri, CEO of Thai AirAsia X; the main sponsor of KILORUN 2018, explained KILORUN 2018 has progressed to its third location following Bangkok of Thailand and Ubud in Bali of Indonesia. Both runs were well received and the third incarnation of the event, taking place in Osaka of Japan, is much anticipated as it takes place in one of Thai AirAsia X's most popular destination.

The press announcement for "KILORUN OSAKA 2018" in Japan was honored by H.E. Munin Paniswasdi, Consul-General of Thailand to Osaka, who chaired the opening of the event, as well as Mr. Hiroshi Mizohata President-Osaka Convention and Tourism Bureau and Ms. Jenny Wakana Chief Executive Officer, Air Asia Japan Co Ltd., who spoke of the benefits of the event.

The Japanese government is looking to see 40 million visitors in 2020 and up to 60 million in 2030 according to its tourism and economic growth plans.
