Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya's "Rock the School" grants scholarships to impoverished students in Chonburi. "Rock the School" aims to help students develop their potential and to support students in grades 7 to 12 (ages 13-18) from low income backgrounds by granting the scholarships for students until they graduate from high school or vocational school.

The project gives scholarships to 4 students in 2014, another 4 students in 2015, another 6 students in 2016, another 5 students in 2017 and 6 students in this season. The "Rock the School" project has 25 students under its care in 2018. "Rock the School" was formed by the hotel's management team and Philanthropic committees. Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya grants Baht 20,000 of each academic year to each student for living expenses. Moreover, the students can reimburse the actual expenses for new books, uniforms, tuition fee and extra-curricular educational activities. We have believed it's our duty to give back to our communities. We have a deep compassion for others and a dedication to making the world a better place to be.

About Rock The School

Started in 2014, a program to support school students in Grade 7 through to Grade 12 (Age 13-18), from low income backgrounds by granting funds for their education through a committee formed by the Hotel executives and School officials. The scholarship is designed to help the student and respective families buy uniforms, books, stationery and for the student to participate in extra-curricular educational activities. Currently there are 25 students under its care; each student will receive a fund of Bt. 20,000 per annum till they graduate at grade 12 and with a vocational diploma. Upon graduations, students are also given the opportunity to apply for jobs at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya.
