Trade and knowledge go hand in hand: Asia Cold Chain Summit 2018 Agenda Unveiled

Thailand is pleased to announce program and sessions for Asia Cold Chain Summit 2018- a two-day conference on cold chain sector in ASEAN region.The event is scheduled to take place on November 28 and 29 at BITEC, Bangkok.

To be organized in concurrence with Asia Cold Chain Show and Pharma Logistics on 28 to 30 November 2018, the conference will beaddressing demand for sophisticated cold chain 3PL and determining and incorporating guidelines to include transparency in regulations for transportation, supply chain, precise temperature ranges for food categories and pharmaceutical products.

We strongly feel that a dedicated conference on exploring challenges and profitability of implementing Cold Chainfor handling imports including fruit, flowers, pharmaceutical and seafood for improved food and product safety and qualitygives a definite reason for buyers to attend the event.", said Kiran Mittal, Director, Manch Exhibitions Thailand, organisers of the show.

Conference is a perfect blend of sector forecast, policy issues,business development and technology up gradation in the form of panel discussions and case studies. The conference agenda suggest that a larger emphasis has been given on examining the need for well-defined strategies and development for necessary in-house expertise to optimize processes and minimize cost. Overcoming substantial hurdles in the implementation and management of cold chain logistics satisfaction.

According to organiser, speakers and speaker panels would be announced by end of September. Key sessions highlighted cover– local & global policy, regulations and guidelines: impact on ASEAN cold chain industry, improving compliance, operational efficiency and providing full visibility in the pharmaceutical supply chain, establishing the significance of standardization of refrigerated parcel delivery services and cost savings and improvements to cold chain efficiency resulting from supplier rationalization and consolidation.

"Conference registration will start in first week of August, we recommend everyone to register for the conference on time as we have limited seats available for the conference.
