Bangkok--6 Aug--VERVE

Jim Thompson would like to be a mediator of love and kindness conceived by the grateful offspring of dedicated mothers as National Mother's Day comes once again. Mothers and their beloved family members who visit restaurants under the "Jim Thompson" brand from 11 to 13 August 2018 will be thrilled with special menus—aesthetically prepared with fresh ingredients and cutting-edge culinary artistry—as well as a refined honey and mulberry jam gift set.

Love and ecstasy for mothers will be fulfilled with an exclusive meal at Jim Thompson Restaurant and Wine Bar at Jim Thompson House, and BOMBYX on M Floor at Siam Paragon (North Zone). This exquisite repast starts with a scrumptious hors d'oeuvres— a seasoned white fish stuffed into a flower shaped steamed flour paste called "Chor Mali" (180 Baht). Main dishes in this course are meant to be shared among family members. The healthy "Khao Yam Pak Tai" (220 Baht) promises to gain attention with the beautiful colors of its ingredients, steamed vegetables, and authentic Budu fish sauce. "Pla Gra Phong Yang Sauce Saowarod" (320 Baht) is a recipe of pure nourishment as seabass is meticulously grilled with Jim Thompson's sweet and sour passion fruit sauce and cooked to perfection. Last but not least, a rarely-seen dish known as "Gaeng Poo Bai Cha Kram" (450 Baht) is served to impress mothers. This traditional soup is a spicy coconut milk-based soup freshly made daily. The soup is boiled and simmered along with Sea Blite leaves and crab paddle-legs. Customers who spend a minimum of 2,500 Baht per receipt will be elated with a complimentary honey and mulberry jam gift set from Jim Thompson Farm.

The comprehensive National Mother's Day menu at Jim Thompson Restaurant and Lounge on Surawong Road starts with bite-sized "Chor Mali" and "Pomelo Salad"— a splendid pomelo-based aperitif prepared with shrimps and herbs. "Tom Yam Pla Ga Phong" is a health-conscious dish with a kick from robust tom yum ingredients. "Gaeng Massaman Kai" is a must-have on the table along with "Pad Pak Ruammitr Hed Hom" and nutritious two-toned steamed rice— white jasmine rice and purple jasberry rice. For a dreamlike closure, firm and fluffy "Pandan Cake" is served to every diner. This marvelous 699 Baht meal course is bundled with a Jim Thompson Farm' s honey and mulberry jam gift set.

Reservations can be made in advance at 02-632-8100 for Jim Thompson Restaurant and Wine Bar as well as The Jim Thompson House; 02-129-4840 for BOMBYX at M Floor, North Zone of Siam Paragon; and 02-235-8932 for Jim Thompson Restaurant and Lounge, Surawong Road. National Mother's Day Menus are served from 11 to 13 August 2018 only.
