Canon Volunteer 22: Canon Blood Day 2018

Canon Marketing (Thailand), a leader in digital photography and imaging technology, recently held the "Canon Volunteer 22: Canon Blood Donation Day 2018" event to contribute blood reserve to the National Blood Centre under the Thai Red Cross Society for helping people in need. The company has organised blood donation activities for the seventh consecutive year. Participating in this year's event were Makoto Yoshida (centre), President and Chief Executive Officer of Material Automation (Thailand); Phongthep Prasertvoranun (left), Assistant Director for Corporate Administration Group at Canon Marketing (Thailand); and Withawat Koottatep (right), Executive Vice President for Commercial Development Division of Golden Land Property Development; along with Canon employees and members of the public totaling over 200 persons. The event took place on the first floor of Sathorn Square Office Tower with objectives to promote the spirit of giving and sharing happiness through good deeds.

The Canon Volunteer activities have been organised for Canon employees to participate in, and take place every year since 2006, covering several areas such as educational development, environmental conservation, disaster relief and promotion of Thai culture and Buddhism.
