Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik - Thai racing driver. Born in Phuket in 1995, Stuvik began karting in 2000, at the age of 4. His love for speed came quick, as he started competing in the local karting championships in 2002. He progressed through the ranks and in 2008 he became the Asian Karting Champion. In 2010, Sandy stepped up into open-wheel racing, competing in the Asian Formula Renault Challenge, where he finished every race of the season on the podium, including four wins, and clinched the championship title. He became the youngest ever driver to win the championship, and was the first Thai driver ever to do so. In 2011 the Thai driver started racing in Europe on the most prestigious F1 circuits in the world.
By 2013, Sandy had graduated to the European F3 Open. He finished every race of the season in the top five. He battled with Ed Jones for the title, but due to dropped points he finished as runner-up. He remained in the series in 2014, now renamed as the EuroFormula Open Championship, with RP Motorsport. He dominated the championship, winning ten out of fourteen races, and clinched the championship with a round to spare.
In 2015 & 2016 the Thai driver went on to represent his home country on the Formula 1 stage, competing in the GP3 Series, which races before the Formula 1 main race later that same day. Sandy had ups and downs during his time in GP3, where he netted numerous front-row starts and points finishes.
In 2017 & 2018 Sandy competed in the Blancpain GT Series Asia, where he raced in a Lamborghini Huracan GT3, and a Porsche 911 GT3R respectively. The Thai driver was successful once more, scoring numerous top 5 finishes, 2 podium finishes, and a class victory.
