Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited and Esso Employee Club led a group of around 70 employee volunteers in an educational program to build a brain-based learning playground at Mitsampan School (Pure Anusorn) Si Samrong district, Sukhothai province.

Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin, director and Public and Government Affairs manager and Ms. Matana Sutatham, president of Esso Employee Club presented 550,000-Baht fund for the playground construction to Mr. Wanchai Luadlai, school principal. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Prem Kamwatthana, director of Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.

This playground was built under the concept of brain-based learning design as recommended by Thai Health Promotion Foundation and Office of The Basic Education Commission. It is aimed to stimulate primary students' sense of balance and physical coordination such as moving, climbing, balancing and gripping the bar. Playing and learning opportunities will also help enhance their emotional, social and intellectual development.

Esso encourages employees to join volunteer activities and contribute back to the community. The support derived from the Esso Employee Club which raised funds through various activities such as charity bazaar, second-hand merchandise auction, charity concert, etc.

Esso earlier supported the construction of a building for Mitsampan School (Pure Anusorn) in 1980. This is part of the follow-up visits from our previous supports and to further enhance the school's educational activities.
