The Laem Chabang Plant is Thailand's first and only Green Label certified manufacturing facility. The certification was presented by Singapore Institute of Science (SIS) and New Zealand Environmental Choice, and serves as the latest example of how the superior quality of Gyproc products can be produced with less environmental impact than its rivals' products. The plant has prospered and continues to lead in the innovation of gypsum wall and ceiling solutions, which focus on conserving natural resources and reducing pollution. Green Solutions includes full wall and ceiling energy-saving solutions to prevent heat transmission into the building from outside, reducing the load on air conditioning and reducing CO2 emissions. Green Manufacturing processes are environmentally compassionate, including in the installation of wastewater treatment technology and energy-efficient systems with ISO 14001 certification and Green Label certification.
