Qatar Airways Partners with Chef Ian Kittichai to Create New Thai Dining Options for Passengers Travelling from Thailand

Passengers travelling in First and Business Class will be able to enjoy signature Thai dishes when travelling on flights from Bangkok to Doha

Qatar Airways led by Mr. Aaron Miles Claxton, (3rd from right) Senior Vice President Catering together with Chef Ian Kittichai (3rd from left) recently launched a special Thai menu at cuisine concept. The new dishes will be available for First and Business class passengers travelling from Bangkok, Thailand to Doha, Qatar starting from July 1st, 2019. Qatar Airways is delighted to announce its collaboration with award-winning Thai chef, Ian Kittichai, who will create signature Thai dishes for the airline starting 1 July 2019. The new menus will be available to First and Business Class passengers travelling from Bangkok, Thailand to Doha, Qatar.

Chef Kittichai's menu utilises local produce and passengers can look forward to his signature selection including slow cooked beef short rib with grilled banana chili peppers in a southern style curry or coconut poached tiger prawns with heart of palm, bok choy and chu chee curry.

Travellers from Thailand can enjoy greater flexibility with their travel plans with currently up to 63 weekly flights Qatar Airways flies from its four Thai gateways. The airline currently operates 49 weekly flights to Bangkok and 14 weekly flights to Phuket.
