beIN SPORTS to broadcast FIFA Women#s World Cup in Thailand

beIN Asia Pacific - part of beIN MEDIA GROUP, the global sports and entertainment group - ("beIN"), today announced a new media rights agreement that will see its flagship brand - beIN SPORTS broadcast the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019(TM) in Thailand.

This new deal means that beIN will distribute this year's FIFA Women's World Cup to more countries* than any other global broadcaster. In addition to Thailand, the rights coverage in Asia includes Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, the Philippines and Timor-Leste.

"Thailand has qualified for the Women's World Cup for the second consecutive time and is the first country in Southeast Asia to achieve such unprecedented success in football on a global stage," said Mike Kerr, Managing Director, beIN Asia Pacific. Advocating change for women in sports through "beINSPIRED"

On the same day as the major sports rights deal announcement with FIFA, beIN has also launched a new global project to encourage women and girls across the world to play more sport, under the new branding of "beINSPIRED".
