Bangkok--28 Jun--PR FOCUS

ULTRA hi-speed Internet from TrueOnline has launched Thailand’s first “Up Speed” service enabling ADSL and DOCSIS hi-speed Internet subscribers nationwide to upgrade their download speed by a maximum of 5 Mbps for only Baht 100 a month (for the required month). The increased speed will enhance the downloading/streaming of content including movies, sports and music. Subscription can be made at all True Shops or call 1686 (24 hours).

Mr. Non Ingkutanon, General Manager, Broadband Services, True Corporation Plc said, “Thai lifestyles have started to fully embrace the digital era where new generation consumers prefer to access entertainment in the form of streaming content over Hi-Speed Internet for movies, music and sports programs. As the Broadband market leader, TrueOnline has introduced a new Value Added Service, the first of its kind in Thailand - Up Speed, making it possible for Ultra Hi-Speed Internet by TrueOnline subscribers to temporarily increase their Internet access speed by 5 Mbps for only Baht 100 per month for the month in which they need increased speeds. This is similar to the top up value added-service for mobile phones.

“TrueOnline was recently presented with the Trusted Brand Awards 2012 for Best Internet Service Provider in the Platinum category as a result of consumers confidence in our network quality which fulfills all communications lifestyles of Thai consumers. TrueOnline’s ongoing commitment is to innovate and develop new services. ‘Up Speed’ is available to all Ultra Hi-Speed ADSL and DOCSIS subscribers across Thailand. It is a viable option for subscribers who need higher speeds for a brief period of a time which can easily be acquired along with an additional fee of only Baht 100 per time. With this temporary Up Speed service, subscribers need not pay unnecessarily high monthly charges. They can upgrade their Internet speed two times a year for one month per time. After the thirty days have expired, the connection will automatically return to the original speed, eliminating any concerns about additional expenses,” concluded Mr. Non.

The ‘Up Speed’ service is available from June 20, 2012 onwards. Please visit any True Shop branch or contact the Call Center at 1686.
