Dr. Photchanan Ratanajaipan, the Executive Director of the Thai Network Information Center (THNIC) Foundation, stated about this round of second-level (SLD.th) that "THNIC Foundation opened for registrations of second-level domain under .th, for 6 times during last 5 years and received very positive responses from organization and trademark owners. There are more than 80 Internet domain names under .th registered for representing their distinguished names and identities. All of the donations received have been continuously funded to public interest and Internet infrastructure projects under the umbrella of the foundation, as well as this round's donations. The current projects that we are working on are Net2Home, and BKNIX (Bangkok Internet Exchange). We are welcome you to be part of Thai Internet system developing, and pertain sustainable growth of your organization through obtaining your prominent Internet domain names."
Same as last round, this SLD.th registration will be serviced by T.H.NIC Co., Ltd., the authorized registrar for .th. Terms and Conditions for this round, SLD.th will be particularly limited to private business, state enterprises and trademarks only.
Successful applicants can hold the right over domain name yearly after arranging donation payment to Thai Network Information Center Foundation for registration fee amounting to One Hundred Thousand Baht per name per year until December 21, 2018. Applications will be open from October 01 to Nobember 15, 2018. Application fee is 10,000 Baht.
