Bangkok--19 Oct--Traka

Traka, the industry leader in innovative key and equipment management systems, is targeting the fast-growing markets of the ASEAN region for its line of physical security products. Traka will exhibit at IFSEC Southeast Asia 2018 in Bangkok on 25-27 October, where it will present its latest software and hardware solutions.

From simple secured storage options to enterprise-level control of costly and sensitive devices, Traka's line of intelligent lockers provides an intuitive and powerful way to manage, track and report usage an organization's most important assets, with the potential to easily integrate into access control platforms, HR databases, or third-party systems. All of Traka's systems are integrated with touch software for an exceptional user experience.

"For Traka, this year is about demonstrating our established presence in the APAC market," said Martin Woodhouse, Traka International Sales Director. "There are a huge variety of industries that our intelligent key and equipment management systems would benefit. In Thailand and the ASEAN region, we see the hotel industry, the healthcare industry and manufacturing, among others, as areas in which we can make a great impact. Our solutions are proven to minimise operational costs, increase productivity, and ensure the efficient use of company equipment. These all combine to integrate with full audit trail capability in all industry sectors."

UK-based Traka has over 25,000 Key and Asset management systems installed worldwide, with a presence in over 40 countries allowing the company to provide high quality local support.
Traka's solutions include a wide variety of Lockers and Key Cabinets linked together by advanced centralized management software. What follows are some that it plans to exhibit at IFSEC:
Traka Web

An intuitive, browser-based central administration software, Traka Web provides all the tools an organization needs to centrally manage all Traka key cabinets and lockers. It arranges users and items side-by-side, allowing for easy remote administration.

With the ability to regionalize administrative control, different sectors of an organization can customize their respective security needs to make keys and assets more efficient and effective.
Traka Web also provides a wide range of features, including email notification, curfew, real-time activity, fuel logging, multiple language selection, and many more.
Key Cabinets

Traka's intelligent cabinets are designed to meet the needs of organizations of various sizes by hosting from 5 to 720 keys, ensuring that only authorised staff are allowed access to the custom key cabinets (and only then to designated keys).

The high-security key management system provides a full audit trail of who removed a key, when it was taken, and when it was returned, keeping staff accountable at all times.
Improving operational efficiency, reducing the cost of replacing missing keys, and saving staff time in looking for the right keys are just some of the benefits of Traka's intelligent management solution.
Smart Locker
Traka's smart locker systems provide controlled access to shared equipment such as laptops, tablets, phones, radios, and pharmaceuticals, with the best in equipment management and secure storage solutions.
Rack Manager
Traka's powerful Rack Manager offers electronically controlled access to every server rack door in a data centre, with the ability to scale up to suit evolving infrastructure environments.

As with all of Traka's intelligent access management solutions, Rack Manager is controlled by user-friendly Traka Touch Software with embedded touchscreen technology, allowing instant customisable reporting and full audit control capability.

Rack Manager can limit access not only to authorised personnel, but also to specific time periods for each person. It includes exception reporting via email, with email alerts in instances such as doors being left open outside of designated curfew times.

Integration Engine

The powerful Integration Engine allows Traka administrators to link user permissions with existing access control. Administrators can seamlessly secure the premises and assets by ensuring staff cannot leave the building if they are still in possession of valuable assets or keys, as well as ensure that only authorised users have access to secure areas. Any changes made in the access levels on the access control database will automatically transfer into the Traka intelligent key cabinets and locker systems.

IFSEC Southeast Asia is the region's leading integrated security event. It will take place at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, where Traka will occupy Booth C01.

"IFSEC SEA has given us the opportunity to showcase our cutting-edge key and equipment management solutions is the right international platform to demonstrate our proven integrated solutions developed specifically for the Asia Pacific market," Woodhouse says. "We want visitors to our booth to see for themselves our comprehensive yet remarkably intuitive systems
