THAI Celebrates Mother’s Day with Special Meal on International Routes

To celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Birthday, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) is serving special and authentic Thai dishes on outbound international routes from Bangkok, Thailand.

Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, President of THAI, said, “THAI is celebrating this special occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s Birthday and Mother’s Day by offering specially prepared authentic Thai dishes in all class of travel on international routes from Bangkok. These exclusive dishes will be prepared with ingredients from the Royal Project and served to passengers traveling outbound from Bangkok during 11-13 August 2010 (except on flights with limitations and flights with breakfast served).

Included in the special menu are these dishes:

Royal First Class: Passengers traveling on Royal First Class will first be served Koong Norn Hae, Ma — Auon, and Yam Thai Noi as hot appetizers, followed by Pan-fried Chicken Thigh in Classic Herbs and Chilean Seabass Sweet & Sour Soup with Steamed Thai Hom Mali rice as the main course.For dessert, Sago with coconut meat in coconut cream and Loog Chup will be served.

Business/Royal Silk Class and Premium Economy Class: Passengers traveling in Royal Silk Class and Premium Economy can enjoy Koong Hom Pha / Ma-Auon and Yam Thai Noi for appetizers, with Pan-fried Chicken Thigh Classic Herbs and Steamed Thai Hom Mali rice for the main course. Dessert will be sago with coconut meat in coconut cream.

Economy Class: Passengers in Economy Class can enjoy Yam Thai Noi as an appetizer followed by Pan-fried Chicken Thigh Classic Herbs with Steamed Thai Hom Mali rice as the main course .

For all passengers on this occasion, THAI will also serve an exotic jasmine jelly sweet that has been specially hand-created in light blue color.
