JVI and M?venpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket Bring Joy to 70 Children from Life Home Project Foundation.

There will be happy smiling faces for 70 children from Life Home Foundation Project. Thanks to JVI, Jonathan Virginia, Inc who once again contributed more than USD 7,500 and to the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket who raised over USD 2,500 and organised a Fun Day at resort property.

In a resounding display of affection for the community, JVI – Jonathan Virginia, Inc and Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket hosted Phuket’s 3rd Annual Fun Day – a holiday party for more than 70 children from Life Home Foundation Project.

With five hours to run wild, children aged 6-14 participated in a variety of exciting games and activities that they may not have tried before, including arts and crafts, team building and singing followed by a large lunch with all kinds of special treats at the resort’s renowned Play Zone, one of the largest Phuket kids club. Each child also received multiple gifts, including a goody bag with necessary stationery, toys and treats.

This event was kindly supported by Mr. Jon Fink, the president of JVI – Jonathan Virginia, Inc who donated more than USD7, 500 for Life Home Foundation Project, a home for women and children with HIV/AIDS here in Phuket.

“The JVI company is proud to align ourselves with Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket in hosting our third annual holiday event for underprivileged children and their families within our Phuket community.” Said Mr. Jon Fink, the president of JVI and the owner of a residence unit at Mövenpick Residence Karon Beach Phuket.

Mr. Hansruedi Frutiger, General Manager of the resort also added, “with this event I can see the smile in their faces and the benefits of our charity.”

In addition to the fun day, the resort also holds a Christmas ornament sales as a fundraiser between 7th December 2010 and 7th January 2011. The Christmas ornaments are locally produced in villages of Thailand and the money raised from the sale of these ornaments will go to “Life Home Foundation Project”. More than USD 300 was collected from this charity endeavour as of 11th December 2010.
