Low fares leader Jetstar continues its support of local communities and underprivileged children with its recent organizing of a charity fair and internal donation drive aimed at supporting more than 100 HIV-infected children at Ban Home Hug ( Home of Love).

Jetstar encourages volunteerism in its workforce, as it effectively creates a spirit of cooperation as well as generates real pride among the airline’s crew and other employees.

In addition to individual staff initiatives, in 2007 Jetstar established StarKids in partnership with World Vision, whereby passengers are encouraged to donate to World Vision projects which improve the lives of children in some of the region’s poorest communities, including in Thailand. Many Jetstar employees also donate directly through a direct Work Place Giving program.

As a growing and dynamic company Jetstar looks forward to enhancing its support for community and social programs throughout Thailand and in the increasing number of countries where it now operates.
