Life

Tuesday 13 March 2012 17:30
This exhibition highlights a unique vision of Life through the eyes of Guido, a Dutch artist whose works are heavily influenced by CoBrA. The canvas artworks in Life incorporate various styles reflective of primitive, child-like and vivid visions created by the mentally challenged. In Life, Guido portrays the coexistence of human beings and animals through unique compositions with dramatic high intensity and diverse mood. Being one of the few remaining artists faithful to CoBrA, a major art movement that started in 1948 in three major European cities (Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam), Guido’s works have been exhibited throughout the world. Spending most of his time working on art in France, this is a rare opportunity to experience CoBrA influenced art by a world-renowned artist in Bangkok.
