A VIP Inbound Roadshow group of major film and television producers and location scouts, hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports’ Thailand Film Office, were warmly welcomed by Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket GM Philipp S. Frickhinger when they stayed at the hotel recently as part of a ‘location’ survey trip.

Some of the group have worked on such feature films as "Catch Me if You Can", "The Aviator" and "Shutter Island", all starring Leonardo DiCaprio, who himself stayed at Cape Panwa Hotel during the filming of ‘The Beach’ in 1999.
